If you are trying to figure out how to copy ps1 games your not alone. A lot of people are looking for information on how to copy ps1 games. First of all let me say it's a very good idea to make a backup copies of all your ps1 games. Video games discs are easily damaged, if you step on one or scratch it bad enough it will become unusable.

However if you have the original you can always burn another copy. The best thing you can do is make a copy of your PS1 games as soon as you get them, put the original away in a safe place and play the backup copy. This way your original will always be in mint condition. Blank DVDs are fairly cheap now and you can pick up a whole sleeve of blanks at any discount store like Wal-Mart.

Of course you will need software and a computer in order to make PS1 game copies. Like everyone else I went to the free software first. If you search around you can find tutorials on forums. The bad part is they're almost impossible to follow and you need several different programs running on your computer to make a single copy. I don't know how many different software programs I went through trying to get something to work.

I probably went through half a sleeve of blank DVDs before giving up on the free programs. I finally broke down and bought software that is made for making video game copies. Should have done it a lot sooner and saved myself a lot of time and aggravation, not to mention the money for all the blank DVD coasters I made.

Finally someone came up with software that does what it's supposed to, and I'm not talk about game copy Pro which turned out to be a big scam. Once you have the software installed on your computer and set up is basically a one click setup. You can crank out video game copies very easily and the good news is, they work perfectly every time.

I hate spending money on software but this is one investment that was well worth it. If you can save one of your video games you will be ahead of the game, money wise. If you have multiple game systems like I do you can copy all of your video games and make backup copies, this software is not made just to copy ps games. It will work just as well for Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation two, PC games and regular DVDs. That's right you can copy movie DVDs just as easily.

But what about copy guard? The software can blast right past this with no problem whatsoever. It is perfectly legal to make backup copies of discs you have purchased. So you have no need to worry about getting in trouble legally. If you have more than one PlayStation one system in your house you can burn copies and share them. So what are you waiting for? Copy ps1 games is easy now that you know the secret.
