Even with General use over time your game discs will become scratched or damaged. Step on one and forget it. Smart gamers will make backup copies of their games as soon as they get them. This way if something happens to the copy you always have the original in mint condition that you can burn in other copy from.

Blank DVDs are cheap now, you can pick up a whole sleeve of blank DVDs almost anywhere, and a very reasonable cost. Usually less than the cost of a single game. In order to burn a Wii game to DVD you will need a computer, a DVD burner and software that will do the job.

Most software that is made for copying DVDs will not copy game discs, especially Wii discs. They cannot get past the copy guard that is built into the video games.
