Game DVDs are easy to damage, and once you do you usually have to replace them since they will not play any longer.

Even with General use over time your game discs will become scratched or damaged. Step on one and forget it. Smart gamers will make backup copies of their games as soon as they get them. This way if something happens to the copy you always have the original in mint condition that you can burn in other copy from.

Blank DVDs are cheap now, you can pick up a whole sleeve of blank DVDs almost anywhere, and a very reasonable cost. Usually less than the cost of a single game. In order to burn a Wii game to DVD you will need a computer, a DVD burner and software that will do the job.

Most software that is made for copying DVDs will not copy game discs, especially Wii discs. They cannot get past the copy guard that is built into the video games. I learned this the hard way after trying many different programs that claim they can copy video games. I almost went through an entire sleeve of blank DVDs before I found something that actually worked.

I finally bought Quick DVD Copy software and all I can say is I wish I would have found it sooner it would have saved me a lot of time and aggravation. Not to mention the pile of bad, corrupted discs I have laying on the floor. Quick DVD Copy isn’t perfect but it does do a pretty good job and if you’re looking for something that will burn a Wii game to DVD I recommend it.

It also makes excellent copies of any DVD movie. If you happen to be a member of a DVD or game download site you can use the software to copy your downloads to DVD and play them in any video game console or if it’s a movie you can play it in any DVD player.

In fact if you like movies there is an option when you join to get access to movie downloads. I have downloaded quite a few so far and found the quality to be excellent. Once you get the software I do recommend going to the instructions. Most people that have trouble burning copies try it without reading any of the tutorials or instructions. It’s worth the time to spend to use it properly.
